National Customer Service Week is a week-long celebration of the vital role customer service plays in business success.
Delivering excellent customer service forms part of the promise we make to our customers of service, sustainability and savings and in recognition of this we spoke to some of our customer services employees about their roles and why they love working at water2business.
Phil - customer service advisor
My main role is phone queries but I also help the major billing team with their email inbox and support our customer relations team with correspondence from customers.
I like to help people and in customer service there is no end to the help I can give. I remember once that I got told by a customer she could speak to animals and that there was a mouse telling her I was a nice person! I love it when our customers have such a good sense of humour!
The people at water2business are great and not just because of the cake they all bring in! We are empowered and encouraged to take the necessary time to deal with customers' enquiries fully and effectively and we have regular coaching sessions either with or without our team leader or deputy team leader. We also have access to an online portal where we can request additional training.
We have a dress down day every last Friday of each month where we all donate to charity. We in the customer service team love a dress up day and last month we won the best dressed hula team.
