water2business named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service

water2business are extremely proud to have been officially named a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’sRM6178Water, Wastewater and Ancillary Services Framework, meaning new and existing partnerships with public funded bodies can successfully move forward.

Crown Commercial Service (CSS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2019/20, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth over £1bn - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

Across the UK, public sector entities such as schools, councils, and the fire service must adhere to a rigorous and transparent tendering procedures, including new contracts with water retailers. Any new tenders from government funded organisations valued above a certain financial threshold are published daily onto the Official Journey of the European Union.

The CCS stepped into to manage this process for UK public organisations, making for a more cost effective and simplified approach to tendering new contracts. With water2business now part of the framework, existing public sector customers can now comfortably remain in new and existing contracts, knowing all required checks and vetting procedures have been passed.

Chief Operating Officer of water2business Andy Coates said:

“This is fantastic news and one which the entire team are very proud of. water2business’ joining of the CCS framework means that we are able to continue with and expand on existing partnerships with loyal customers, whilst ensuring a simple and cost-efficient tendering procedure.”
