All eyes on water2business' latest contract renewal with international optician
National water retailer water2business has extended its partnership with one of the UK's largest optical brands, Vision Express, for a further three years.
The two parties have been working together over the past few years, striving for ‘Service, Sustainability and Savings’.
Over the coming years, the national water retailer will continue to provide the full consolidated account support that it’s best known for. A dedicated water2business account manager will provide Vision Express with a bespoke service that fits their needs across their 250 UK and Joint Venture sites.
This positive news for water2business follows a succession of similar contract extensions with leading brands, including Coffee#1, restaurant chain Itsu, and Birmingham Airport.
During a successful 2022 for the national water retailer, water2business secured its position as the number one ranked large water retailer for market performance compliance for a fifth consecutive year and delivered a strong performance in the water industry's latest annual customer complaints report.
Commenting on the contract renewal, water2business Managing Director, Charley Maher, said:
“We are thrilled to extend our relationship with Vision Express for another three years. Working in close partnership together, we have already made great strides in consolidating their billing across their 250 UK sites, providing us a strong platform to build on.
“Having another renowned brand like Vision Express among our 85,000 clients makes us feel very proud, representing a strong start to 2023.
“We are excited by the prospect of what we can achieve together over the coming three years.”
Although they very much remain a distinct brand, in 1997 Vision Express became part of leading international optical retail group GrandVision NV. Operating over 7,000 stores in 44 countries across the globe, GrandVision has more than 37,000 employees.
Vision Express said: “We are delighted to secure a partnership with water2business across our network of stores and fulfilment centres which we believe will strengthen our facilities management as we consolidate water supply across all our sites.”
