The role:Our Market Operations team is responsible for managing and
correcting industry data within internal and external systems. We pride
ourselves on being specialists in market processes whilst delivering a first
class service to our customers and colleagues across a range of contacts where
you would be responsible for the validation and analysis of data items, as well
as the management of data exceptions. Data analysis will be a key area of work,
with the verification of market performance data being a core element. You will
also manage the triggering and resolution of issues through a variety of
systems, liaising with internal and external departments to ensure that cases
and transactions are completed within targets and keeping wholesalers and
internal departments informed throughout the various stages of the process.
The key skills needed for the role involve managing a number of different
portals and systems, ensuring adherence to appropriate SLAs and KPIs, the
ability to problem solve and find solutions to problems at first point of
contact and managing exceptions within the systems, whilst prioritising contacts
between internal teams and our Wholesalers.
About you:You have exceptional communication skills, both written and
verbal, with a positive attitude and an enthusiasm to learn new skills. You are
self-motivated to achieve KPIs and accept responsibility for the quality and
accuracy of your work.
You can think outside of the box; putting forward suggestions and you are
constantly looking for new ways to develop yourself and the team. You have a
proactive approach to solving problems, delivering effective decision-making
using your own initiative. There is a requirement to take part in the out of
hour coverage, on a rota basis, for this team but this is invoked if there is
an emergency situation. You will be remunerated for this out of hours
You will have a good standard of education, with at least a grade C in
English and Maths at GCSE level (or equivalent) and well-developed IT
